Format Electrical Ltd are electrical contractors who formed in July 1993 by it’s existing Directors, from a modest beginning with an employee count of three. The business has since grown to employ 34 members of staff. Steve Exton and Steve Livesey have both risen through the "tried and trusted" Electrical Apprenticeship Schemes, progressing through the ranks, gaining experience and knowledge in all aspects of Electrical Contracting until eventually, as Divisional Contracts Manager and Senior Contracts Engineer they could advance no further and so broke away to form their life’s ambition "Format Electrical Services Ltd".

All of our electricians are employed on a direct basis rather than as sub-contractors, each one fully trained and equipped in all aspects of current Health & Safety at Work legislation and all registered with the Joint Industry Board (JIB), therefore maintaining the high level of service demanded by our clients.
Format Electrical Services Ltd are members of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) and of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), we also run our business under the guidelines of ISO: 9001:2000 ensuring the highest standard of internal and external quality standard.
